<-- That's store owner, Paul, getting certified in the 1980's in Tobermory. So why not celebrate our 25th anniversary back where it started?
This animated version of our Dive Tobermory 2021 Photo Album presents the highlights of our most recent trip!
Trip Details, Prices, and the "Fine Print"
Fathom Five offers some of the best freshwater diving opportunities in the world. Clear, clean water, submerged geological formations (cliffs, caves, overhangs) and more than 20 historical shipwrecks offer a variety of underwater experiences. Everyone, from the novice snorkeller to the most advanced diving enthusiast, can find lots to explore and enjoy within the park.
It's worth mentioning shipwrecks again because that really is the star attraction here, and most dives will feature a wreck. The remains of more than 20 historical shipwrecks (plus some purposely created wrecks) lie 10 to 150 feet beneath the surface, waiting to be explored.
The 55-ft dive boat, Proteus, has a spacious deck that's ideal for divers - get ready in comfort without bumping into other divers, and the fin-friendly ladders make exiting the water easy!
Diver’s Den has also implemented some top-notch safety protocols with regards to COVID-19, including mandatory masks on board & while loading. We chose Proteus since it offers the most deck space, so we can spread out in comfort!
Join our experienced Water Sports staff on our yearly
adventure. We love the friendly group atmosphere
and truly breathtaking wrecks so close to our own
backyard. COVID permitting, join us Saturday for our
dive logging happy hour hangout before walking to
dinner by the scenic bay!
The Bruce Peninsula is designated as a World Biosphere Reserve, and the area is a nature lover’s paradise. There are countless miles of hiking trails along rugged shorelines, through thick forests, and even climbing up the towering cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment, where you can find the most beautiful views in Ontario.
“I say skip the crowded national park and go to the Devil’s Monument instead! While it’s not quite off the beaten path, this trail checks off every box on the “good hiking trail” checklist, and it’s completely FREE to use.”
If you'd prefer some time off your feet, but still want to see more of Tobermory's stunning scenery, then why not go on a glass-bottom boat tours in the area?
If you’re in the mood for some retail therapy then you'll enjoy Tobermory's unique boutiques, shops, and art galleries. And when it’s time to fuel up for your next adventure, Tobermory has a variety of restaurants and cafes to chose from - many of which have lovely views of the harbour.
*Plus HST. Accommodations are not included and divers must make their own arrangements. We recommend booking your accommodations ASAP, as Tobermory is a very popular tourist destination and can end up with no vacancies. Subject to change without notice.
